It’s always interesting to look back at the path that we have gone on to get where we currently are. Often times, it is not the same road that we thought that we would take. It changes course on us frequently, sometimes by our own design and sometimes because of changes going on around us. Continue reading “The Pool Hall”
You know, I would love to be a great writer. I would love to sit down and just crank out some of the highest quality content. I would love it if my writing was at such a high level that people would flock to this site in droves. That would be great. That’s the dream anyway. Continue reading “Some Help With The Writing”
Do you ever feel like life is moving way too fast? It’s like everything is coming at you so fast that you cannot possibly stay on top of it. At first, it’s manageable. But then, slowly, you begin to feel life overcoming your sanity. You are being buried. Your best-laid plans have backfired on you. Continue reading “Slow Down”
When you die, what will be said about you? Will those who gather together to grieve your passing do so to honor the individual that you were or will they be there to close a door in life?
What about the workplace? Do the people who you work with speak of you well? Or, the moment that you are out of the room, does the gossip and rumors begin?

I just have to continue to put one foot down in front of the other to reach our goal.” Continue reading “Calm Down”

Elisa and I have been watching old episodes of Friends lately and it got me to thinking. As ridiculous as those people were (and it was pretty bad), they always had each other’s backs. Through thick and thin, they were there for each other. This show was so popular. It is very rare for a tv show to last ten years. Continue reading “Friends”
A person should never stop learning. Our education should be a lifelong adventure. Sure, I get it. You finish up 12 years of lower education and push yourself through 4 to 8 years of college. You’re ready to quit learning. You feel like you have more information packed into your head than you might ever possibly be able to use. At this point, you are ready to just sit back and attempt to put what you have already learned to use. Continue reading “Learn Some New Skills”
