Revisiting Virtue

When you die, what will be said about you? Will those who gather together to grieve your passing do so to honor the individual that you were or will they be there to close a door in life?

What about the workplace? Do the people who you work with speak of you well? Or, the moment that you are out of the room, does the gossip and rumors begin?

Plan For Your Future

A few years ago, I started doing some serious evaluating of my life and how well I was providing for my family. I started reading anything I could get my hands on in regards to finances. I made a choice to start living my life a little more intentionally. I wanted to stop feeding Today Me (the dude that keeps me from planning for the future). The result: I can honestly say that, for the first time in my life, I have 5 and 10 year plan for myself and my family. I think this is what determines which Me wins. Friends

Elisa and I have been watching old episodes of Friends lately and it got me to thinking. As ridiculous as those people were (and it was pretty bad), they always had each other’s backs.
