Get Back Up

My mother and my aunt both play the piano. And, it’s not .just as a hobby or from time to time. Both of them are superb at their craft

Both have given lessons to other people and both of them have played and led the worship services at my hometown church for years, heck, decades now. You get the point. Loads of talent. Continue reading “Get Back Up”

The Pool Hall

It’s always interesting to look back at the path that we have gone on to get where we currently are. Often times, it is not the same road that we thought that we would take. At least once a day, my brain attempts to shut down and disappear into a video game consule somewhere and I have to remind myself, “There are steps in place here for success. I just have to continue to put one foot down in front of the other to reach our goal.” Continue reading “Calm Down”

Those dogs…..

A few months ago, I wrote about the frustration of having puppies in the house. The poop on things. They pee on things. They chew up everything that you own. They shed on your couch and all of your clothes. There is just, in general, a lot of reasons that a person could have for not wanting a dog.  Continue reading “Those dogs…..”
